First of all, there is more than one way to skin a cat.
If you're pressed for time, and considerate of our server space, www.photobucket.com will hold photo's online for you to link to. Register there, and login. If you wan't to know how to upload directly to the forum, skip this part, and go to "How to Upload Photos 2."
You will be brought to a page where you can Add pictures, and you're current photo album will be shown below.
1) Click the "Browse" button. This will bring up a little window of the files on your pc. Locate the file, and double click. Alternatively, one the file is highlighted, click the "Open" button. This will put the location of the picture file into the "Picture" box.
2) Add a description. Can be anything you like, but preferably something to do with the picture you're uploading!
3) Click "Submit". the wonder of Photobucket, is if the file is over 250k, it will automatically resize it for you.
4) Now you can see you're file in the album below. There are 3 text boxes underneath. Another wonder of photobucket, is it kindly puts the HTML tags either side of the text depending on how you want to use the image.
5a) If you wish to just put a link for others to click on and view the photo, highlight the text in the "Link" box, right click, click "Copy". Then find where you want to put it in your post, right click again, and click "Paste".
5b) I will skip Tags, as chances are in a post, you will only want to use links and direct linking. So you either have a post full of links, or a post full of images (Or both if you're weird). If you want to direct link to a photo, simply highlight the text in the "IMG" box, Copy and then paste where you want to photo to appear in you're post. Easy-peasy.
